Sensible Tax Reform--Simple, Just and Effective

Home

Sensible Tax Reform--Simple, Just and Effective is a proposal for a revolutionary redesign of our federal tax system:
  • All taxpayers will be treated alike.
  • All tax provisions will apply the same to all taxpayers.
  • Individuals will be freed from paying Social Security, Medicare and estate taxes.
  • All personal income, whatever the source, will be treated alike.
  • All tax loopholes will be eliminated.
  • The poor will no longer pay any federal income or payroll taxes.
  • Businesses will no longer pay any federal taxes--Social Security, Medicare or income taxes.
  • To replace the lost tax revenue, a federal consumption tax will be introduced for retail purchases.
  • Sensible Tax Reform is based upon the work of Christopher M. Korth, Professor Emeritus of Finance and International Business at Western Michigan University. Dr. Korth is a consultant with businesses, both in the United States and abroad, and was the former Chief International Economist with the 1st National Bank of Chicago. He received his doctorate from Indiana University.
